Kas lively and picturesque town with an enormous selection of restaurants, tried as many as we could and beats cooking - especially in this heat (100°). However exciting the places to visit we couldn't be tempted away from the pool, such a glorious setting - everything we could wish for all in one place!
Exquisite! The villa, the views, the people - so very good. Colin gave us some tips about the local cuisine and we were never disappointed. The Marina is consistently good and so atmospheric. The Aquarius beach/hotel bar is excellent for swimming and refreshments. We recommend a boat trip. We hired a boat for the day with a skipper which proved to be the highlight of our hols. Mehmet the gardener is our favourite and we were priviledged to have tea at his home with his family following the birth of his first child, Ali. Finally - look out for the turtles in the bay below - they're amazing. We will be back!

Note: The Aquarius Beach is located just below our house on the other side of the Peninsula. It has an award for being one of the best beaches in Turkey, although it has no sand. Fantastic clear water ideal for snokelling and scuba. Lots of fish species. Free sunbeds if you have a drink at the friendly beach bar. Table tennis and volleyball. Cheap to eat there in the evening in a very romantic setting. Easily reached from Sundown Villa.

This has been an awesome holiday I am so not looking forward to leaving. I think we came at one of the best times of the year [end October] me and my dad went fishing but with no success. The pool was totally freezing but I managed to get in it a few times. By the way the pool lights didn't work. [MCB had tripped!]
Thank you Colin and Carol and Kas for a most relaxing retreat. The villa is as comfortable as being at home but with a view that is 2nd to none. I hope we return not too long from now. I cannot praise you enough.
